Sirloin Steak with Sweet Potato Wedges, Green Beans and Chimichurri Sauce

Sirloin Steak – Recipe

Ingredients – For one person

  • 60z Sirloin Steak
  • 1 Large Sweet Potato
  • Handful Green Beans
  • Handful Oregano
  • Handful Parsley
  • 1 Garlic Glove
  • Teaspoon Paprika
  • Olive Oil
  • Water
  • Salt




Step 1 – 5 mins

Heat your oven to 200c or Gas Mark 5
Peel and chop Sweet Potato into wedges
Place a baking tray drizzle with olive oil
Sprinkle with Paprika and shake
Put in the oven for 30 mins

Step 2 – 10 mins

Finely chop Parsley, Oregano, Garlic Clove
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and add Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Chilli Flakes, Water and Salt
Mix into a paste

Step 3 – 5 mins

Place a frying pan or griddle onto a high heat.
Place a pan onto boil half full with water
Sprinkle steak with olive oil, salt and pepper

Step 4 – 5 to 10 mins

When your frying pan is hot place your steak into the pan and cook to your desired level. (See our steak cooking guide)
Take your steak from the pan and rest on a plate.

Step 5 – 5 mins

Place your green beans into boiling water and cook for 5 mins.
Remove your wedges from the oven.
Drain your green beans

To serve:

Place Sweet Potato Wedges, Green Beans and Sirloin Steak onto a plate then drizzle the steak with Chimichurri Sauce.
